Golden Globes 2021 is happening right now. Chadwick Bose was awarded the Best Actor Motion Picture (Drama) for Ma Rainey's Black Bottom. His widow Taylor Simone Ledward took the award in his behalf. She wore a lovely golden gown for the occasion with minimal makeup. The lady gave a very inspiring speech where she spoke of his legacy. She said, "He would thank God. He would thank his parents. He would thank his ancestors for their guidance and their sacrifices." She further said, "He would say something beautiful, something inspiring, something that would amplify that little voice inside of all of us that tells you you can. That tells you to keep going, that calls you back to what you are meant to be doing at this moment in history." The hosts started crying as Taylor Simone Ledward made her speech. Fans have referred to her as the Queen of Wakanda. She wore a golden Atelier Versace gown for the event. In fact, there was a special segment with kids where all of them knew who was Chadwick Boseman. The actor left a huge mark on popular culture with his performance in Black Panther.
He died of colon cancer last year. It seems he was battling the disease for a long time. Chadwick Boseman never spoke of his struggles so many people were unaware of it. He is known the world over for his work in Black Panther and Wakanda Forever will stay in the hearts of fans!
