For UDID, differently able certificate to be made online

Patna, Mar 01 (UNI) Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey today said that one lakh eight thousand five hundred eighty-two unique disability identity card UDID have been issued and announced that the differently-abled certificate would now be made online from April 1 this year.
Replying to call the attention of Mr Ratnesh Sada JD( U) MLA from Sonbarsa and others during pre-lunch sitting in the state assembly, Mr Pandey said that disability certificate for UDID card was being made for which medical examination through the medical board is being conducted on every Tuesday in the office of civil surgeons and at public health centres across the state. He said that for the convenience of the people the certificate for differently-abled would be made online from April 1 this year.
Replying to the query of Mr Sada for holding camps to make the certificate for differently-abled persons, the Minister said that it would be impossible because the certificate is issued only after examination by the medical board. He said that it can be procured at the Panchayat level, at PHC and from the office of the civil surgeon.
To another query for fixing a specific date at subdivision level for medical examination by the medical board to speed up the process and for convenience of the people, the Minister replied in affirmation and assured to look into the suggestion.
