Apathy of central and state govt. pushing prices of fuel higher: Priyanka Gandhi

Guwahati, Mar 1 (UNI) Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi today said that the apathy of the central and state government is pushing the prices of fuel and essential commodities.

Attacking BJP, Mrs Gandhi accused the State and Central Government of pushing the common man into abject misery.

“Apathy of the Government is pushing the common man into abject misery through continuous price-hike of fuel and essential commodities,” Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi said here.

“Assam has now come to realise the necessity of voting the BJP out of power in the State,” Priyanka Gandhi added.

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi also slammed the BJP for ‘jeopardising’ the future of the youths of Assam.

“Assam has massive potential for employment generation, especially through small businesses. But the BJP has jeopardised the future of our youth by spreading rampant joblessness,” Priyanka Gandhi said.

Exuding confidence in the Grand Alliance winning the upcoming Assam Assembly Elections, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi said that a change is inevitable this time.

“Grand Alliance will win the Assam Assembly Elections. Change is inevitable,” added Priyanka Gandhi.

Priyanka Gandhi is on a two-day visit to poll-bound Assam starting from today.
