Stocks to watch on March 1st: On Friday, both Sensex and Nifty reported a bullish trend in the stock market after bearish reports in the last session of the market. The Sensex is trading above 49,600 levels and nifty trading above 14,600 levels in the stock market. The Sensex gained 578.63 points with a 1.18% increase and reached 49,665.16 levels. While the nifty gained 150.35 points with a 1.05% increase and reached 14,681.45 levels.
On the other side, the number of coronavirus cases in India on Monday, March 1st reached 1,11,12,241 with almost 1,57,157 deaths.
Reliance Industries Limited: On Saturday, the companies wholly-owned subsidiary Strategic Business Ventures Limited bought additional stakes in SkyTran Inc for almost $26.76 million. Now the total stakes hold by the company reached 54.46%.
However, the shares of Reliance Industries Limited on Monday reported a bullish trend in the stock market. It gained 18.25 points with a 0.87% increase and reached 2,102.70 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 19.90 points with a 0.95% increase and reached 2,103.05 INR.
Bharti Airtel Limited: On Friday, the company shares sold by Integrated Core Strategies Pvt Limited for Rs. 556.46 per equity share with almost 3,70,59,893 shares on the NSE via the open market transaction.
However, the shares of Bharti Airtel Limited on Monday reported a bearish trend in the stock market. It lost 15.20 points with a 2.73% decrease and reached 539.00 INR. While in BSE, the company lost 16.40 points with a 2.94% decrease and reached 540.70 INR.
Indian Oil Corporation Limited: The company board members decided to invest Rs. 32,946 crores for the expansion of Panipat refinery capital to 25 million tonnes per year as against 15 million tonnes per year.
