Parbhani DC orders to shut all religious places amid rising Covid cases

Parbhani,Feb 28(UNI) In view of rising Coronavirus positive cases across the district, Parbhani District Collector Deepak Mugalikar has ordered to close down all religious places in district till March 7.
"Due to the large increase in the number of Covid infections in the district, some restrictions are required in terms of the health of the citizens," the order read.
The order further said that religious places should be closed for some time in view of the crowds at religious places by devotees.
The district collector has also ordered closure of senior colleges and teaching classes in the district from March 1 to March 4.
The order also stated that the primary and secondary education officers has to implement the order in the district.
Meanwhile, he also stressed to continue online education, Mr Munglikar added.

Mumbai, Feb 28(UNI) Maharashtra state Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant has announced that college students will be able to appear for exams both online and offline in the wake of rising rates of corona virus infection in the state.
While clarifying it on Saturday, Mr Samant said that the students who take the exam offline will be able to take the exam by following all the rules regarding coronavirus infection.
