Ukraine: Protesters rally in Kyiv to support activist Serhiy Sternenko, throw flares

Demonstrators rallied in Kyiv on Saturday against the jailing of Ukrainian right-wing activist Serhiy Sternenko earlier this week. Protesters threw flares at the Prosecutor General's Office, demanding a reconsideration of Sternenko's case. Sternenko, a former leader of the right-wing organization Right Sector, was on Tuesday convicted of kidnapping and beating a newly elected local council member in 2015.
