I Have No Time for You as a Human: Dale Steyn Unimpressed With This Commentator
Steyn wrote that the commentators should focus on talking about the game and should not use the airtime to make a remark about someone's ethnicity, weight and sexual choice.
South Africa pacer Dale Steyn has hit out at former Kiwi cricketer and commentator Simon Doull for making some personal remarks, this included a remark on his new hair-style.
The incident happened during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) match between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi when the camera panned on the 37-year-old. Speaking about Steyn’s long hair, Doull was heard saying on commentary: “A little mid-life crisis with that hair.” His fellow commentator remarked “Lockdown hair”.
This didn’t go down well with the South African and he was prompt to hit back on Twitter.
If your job is to talk about the game, then do that.
But if you use that airtime to abuse anyone for their weight, sexual choices, ethnic backgrounds, lifestyle etc or even hairstyles, then im afraid I have no time for you as a human.

“If your job is to talk about the game, then do that. But if you use that airtime to abuse anyone for their weight, sexual choices, ethnic backgrounds, lifestyle etc or even hairstyles, then im afraid I have no time for you as a human. You and anyone else like that to be fair,” he tweeted.
He began the tweet-storm by asking which commentator made those remarks.
“Question: Which commentator said I have a mid life crisis?,” he asked.
