Colorado Duo Recreates Iconic Fight Scene with Lightsabers in Snow, Surreal Video Goes Viral

The cult classic film series Star Warshas millions of fans around the world. The craze for the iconic films is still relevant as people each year dress in the costumes to pay tribute to their favorite characters.

One such tribute took place in the US where two Star Wars fans were spotted recreating a fight scene between Rey and Kylo Ren from Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens amid snow. These two fans went out in the harsh cold weather and pulled out their lightsabers.

In the video doing rounds on the internet, two men from Colorado can be seen fighting surrounded by snow, engaged in a duel with yellow and blue lightsabers. Shot from a distance, the video captured the unusual moment two men pretend to fight using their lightsabers on a snow covered terrain, undeterred by the freezing cold.

Both guys are charging at each other, with one pausing to recreate some moves of Jedi Master while other yielding his illuminated weapon. The video was captioned, "Meanwhile in Colorado,"with famous background music of the film being played in the clip.

The twitter user who shared the video also tagged the actor Mark Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker. Take a look at the video here:

A woman named Angelie Elizabeth from Colorado had captured this rare scene and shared the video on Facebook on February 21. "Only in Colorado can I stand on my balcony and see two men fighting with lightsabers, in 30° degree weather while it’s snowing outside,"she wrote on Facebook.

The post spread like a wildfire on the social media, becoming an instant hit overnight with more than 27,000 reactions and over 25,000 comments. People in the comment section tagged their friends asking if that was them in the video and other users wrote, "This would be us when we’re 50."

The woman shared her experience sayingshe couldn’t stop giggling watching the incident and only caught ‘the end of it.’ Inspired by the incident, shetoo ordered a lightsaber for herself.
