Four arrested for running flesh trade, girl from MP rescued

Palghar, Feb 27 (UNI) The AHTC officials of the MBVV Police on Friday raided a house in the residential premises at Sai Bazaar in Tulinj and arrested four persons all from Nalla Sopara for running a brothel the police said.
PI Bhaskar Phukale of the AHTC told this correspondent that the police got a tip off that a brothel was being run from a house in the locality and the police sent a decoy and nabbed the trio.
All the three arrested were the agents who arranged for girls for the sex trade to the needy customers.
The police also rescued a 20 year old girl from the brothel, who was from MP the police said.
The police gave the names of the arrested as Navakumar Yadav, 27, Lallan Bhuyan,27 and Yogesh Thakur, 29 and Chandan Laxmi Chandvasi, 28.
The accused make friendship with the victims on Face Book and call them to Mumbai on some pretext or the other and then push them into flesh trade the police said.
An offence under sections 370 rw 34 of the IPC and also sections 3,4 and 5 of the PITA Act has been registered against the arrested accused with the Tulinj police station the police said.
