Covid-19: 8,623 new cases detected in M'rashtra

Mumbai, Feb 27 (UNI) Maharashtra on Saturday recorded 8,623 fresh Covid-19 patients and 51 more deaths in the state, taking the tally of such cases to 21,46,777 and the toll to 52,092, respectively.
On the other hand, 3,638 more patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking the overall count of recoveries to 20,20,951.
Meanwhile, Mumbai reported 987 new Covid-19 cases and four deaths, taking the city's tally of infections to 3,24,866 and the toll to 11,471, respectively, sources in Health Department said.
