CHANDIGARH: Haryana on Saturday saw a fresh wave as the state added 199 new
Covid-19 cases and recorded three deaths.
The state had only 94 new recoveries during the day.
The overall tally of the state has gone up to 2,70,610 cases, with 2,66,358 recoveries, 3,047 deaths and 1,205 active cases.
The recovery rate has come down to 98.43 per cent.
The state saw the Covid positive rate of 4.83 per cent and fatality rate of 1.13 per cent.
As many as 21,217 persons were tested for Covid which took the testing rate of the state to 2,23,166 tests per million per day.
Meanwhile, one death each has been reported from Gurugram, Ambala and Karnal districts.
Gurugram topped the state in terms of daily count of the day as the district had 62 new cases.
With this the tally goes to 58,951 cases, 357 deaths and 305 active cases.
Karnal reported second highest at 33 cases where tally has gone to 11,457, Kurukshetra reported 29 new cases followed by 20 new cases each from the neighboring districts of Panchkula and Ambala.
Rest 17 districts reported less than 10 new cases.
