National Science day is commemorated on 27th February every year with an aim to acknowledge the efforts of the great scientist C.V. Raman, whose discoveries have paved a way for the future aspirants to rebuild once again with a different mindset and with a distinctive technology.
Unfortunately, the world has been trapped in a vicious circle of this deadly virus where we have witnessed how miserably the technology has failed to detect the remains of the covid19.
However, no evidence has been found to affirm the virus, yet we have come this far that our scientists are working day and night to get its cure in hand.
The latest example is of Oxford Astrazeneca, and then the Serum Institute of India as they have worked together to formulate the vaccine.

Developed a satellite for domestic communication
The Indian National Satellite System or the INSAT is India’s very own domestic communication satellite. India is one of the only few countries to have such a satellite. It is an extraordinary achievement and places us in a position with some very developed nations.
Launched a Nuclear Submarine
India secured a spot among the only five nations to have launched a nuclear submarine by the name INS Arihant. This is India’s first step towards establishing a dominant position in all three domains. INS Arihant is a 5,000 Km range Submarine.
Technological Umbrella
It is quite an interesting fact to know that India is one of the greatest hubs for Information Technology services. A report showed that out of the top 20 best Information Technology companies in the world, 5 companies are Indian companies.
Captivated solar energy
India’s commitment to using renewable sources of energy is fairly new. This however does not mean that we have not endeavoured to equip ourselves with the setup to utilise renewable sources of energy such as solar power.
