RPF special squad seizes huge quantities of explosives from woman travelling in train

Kozhikode, Feb 26 (UNI) A special squad of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) on Friday seized huge quantities of explosives from a woman hailing from Tamil Nadu and travelling in a train bound to Mangalore.
The team led by Divisional Security Commissioner Jithin B Raj has seized gelatin sticks and detonators from Thiruvannamalai native Ramani who had concealed the explosives under her seat in the Chennai-Mangalore superfast train.
According to sources, the explosives included 117 gelatin sticks and 350 detonators.
The RPF special squad after an initial interrogation had handed over the accused to the Kerala Police for further investigation.
