Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone has kicked off season 2. As reported by Video Games Chronicle, Warzone will be getting some major changes this season.
Warzone map Verdansk will apparently blow up in an in-game event, similar to what Fortnite did while beginning Chapter 2. Players have already uncovered several nukes across Verdansk, which are expected to be triggered at the end of this season. After the event, the game could introduce a new 1980’s themed map based on the Black Ops series. As Activision hasn’t confirmed this event, it needs to be taken with a grain of salt.
In season 2, Warzone has added two new game modes, Exfiltration and Rebirth Island Resurgence Extreme. The game also gets new points of interest for players to explore.
