CONCORD, Calif. (AP) _ Cerus Corp. (CERS) on Thursday reported a loss of $14.4 million in its fourth quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Concord, California-based company said it had a loss of 9 cents.

The biomedical products company posted revenue of $28.2 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $59.9 million, or 37 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $91.9 million.

Cerus expects full-year revenue in the range of $106 million to $110 million.

Cerus shares have dropped roughly 7% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $6.45, a climb of 32% in the last 12 months.
