Gang attacks rowdy in jail
A gang of undertrial prisoners on Thursday allegedly attacked a rowdy who was supposed to be released on bail in a criminal case. Amar R alias Pepsi, arrested in an assault case, was attacked by rival gang members, Syed, Ajmath, Syed Sameer, Riyaz and Syed Imran, and a shaving blade was used in an attempt to kill him. Amar sustained injuries in his ear and cheek. The accused are part of the Bombay Saleem gang, jail officials said. The fight began with the attackers objecting to what they called Amar glaring at them, but officials suspect that was only a premise.
Rs 1.48 crore donation in MM Hills temple hundi

BBMP wraps up 60% of vax survey

Covid vaccination: 3 days to go, K’taka awaits guidelines
