ICAI CS exam result: Three from city among country’s top 25 rankers

AHMEDABAD: The Institute of Companies Secretaries of India (ICSI) on Thursday declared the CS Professional and CS Executive results.
From the Ahmedabad Chapter, two candidates of Executive Programme (new syllabus) and one student of Professional Programmes have secured place in the top 25 All India Ranking (AIR).
Ankul Patwa, with an AIR of 11, has secured the first place in Ahmedabad. Patwa, whose father runs a gold jewellery shop, is looking forward to working with a multinational company in future.
While the delay in exams did give him more time to prepare, Patwa says he also faced anxiety issues due to the Covid-19 forced lockdown.
Anjali Paliwal, whose father is into catering business, ranked second in Ahmedabad with an AIR of 17. She hails from Rajasthan and presently lives in Sabarmati area of Ahmedabad.
The exams were earlier to be held in the first half of 2020 but got delayed to December due to Covid.
Neel Mehta, with an all India ranking of sixth for CS Professional programme, is the only candidate from Ahmedabad Chapter to make to the top 25 list.
Mehta, whose father runs a chemical business said he did yoga and exercised regularly to beat any exam blues amid Covid-19 pandemic.
He studied six hours daily and now looks forward to working with the stock market regulator of the country one day.
