The Times-Tribune, Scranton, Pa.

Feb. 26—A Scranton man is charged with receiving and distributing child pornography, federal prosecutors announced Thursday.

An indictment handed up by a federal grand jury alleges that between Jan. 1, 2020, and Jan. 27 in Lackawanna County, Zachary Watkins, 20, received and distributed visual depictions of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct, according to acting United States Attorney Bruce D. Brandler.

The charges stem from an investigation by the FBI and Scranton police. If convicted, Watkins faces at least five and up to 20 years in prison.
