Old albums are a treasure, of memories and nostalgia. But what this woman found in her deceased aunt's old belonging was a gold mine in form a photo albums. The album lay in some desolate corner of the store room until it was unearthed recently while cleaning. The owner of the album was clearly a Bollywood fan as her collection had a collection of 'autographed pictures and letters'.
"As a young girl growing up in a small town in 1950s and 60s, she was completely enamored by movies. Much to the disapproval of her mother, she spent her free time writing fan mail to movie stars and over a time, built up quite a collection of autographed pictures and letters," the Twitter user wrote in the thread.
It has letters and photographs of stars like Shammi Kapoor, Dharmendra, Sunil Dutt who wrote to her in intricate Urdu, Kamini Kaushal, Saira Banu, Asha Parekh, Sadhna, etc. The thread has baffled the Internet

Like the curator of this album, many of the stars are no more, but are dearly remembered for their immense contribution to the Indian cinema and making it global with their talent.
