NEW DELHI: S&P BSE Capital Goods index was trading with gains at 01:15PM (IST) on Wednesday.
Shares of ABB India Ltd (up 5.13 per cent), Carborundum Universal (up 4.77 per cent), Grindwell Norton (up 4.54 per cent), Lakshmi Machine Works (up 4.04 per cent) and Finolex Cables (up 3.8 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While AIA Engineering (down 2.32 per cent), Adani Green (down 1.59 per cent), V-Guard Industries (down 0.47 per cent), SKF India (down 0.37 per cent) and Schaeffler India (down 0.31 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The S&P BSE Capital Goods index was trading 1.35 per cent up at 22025.28 around 01:15PM.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 112.65 points at 14820.45, while the BSE Sensex was up 290.78 points at 50042.19.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 25 were trading in the green, while 24 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Bosch, YES Bank, Central Bank Ind and IOB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Hind Copper, IIFL Finance, Redington, Rain Industries and Zensar Tech hit their fresh 52 week high in today's trade, while Chandrima Mercantiles Ltd., Sanwaria Consumer Ltd., Interactive Financial Services Ltd., Ontic Finserve Ltd., Kaiser Corporation Ltd., Integra Capital Management Ltd., Misquita Engineering Ltd., Mega Nirman & Industries Ltd., Coral Newsprints Ltd. and Worldwide Aluminium Ltd. hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
