Gran Canaria rental company Elevaciones Archipiélago has taken delivery of a further seven electric Snorkel boom and scissor lifts following on from five units last year – see: Snorkel in Gran Canaria.
The order includes six slab electric scissor lifts – five 19ft S3219Es and a 26ft S3226E – plus a 46ft A46JE electric articulated boom lift, all of which were sold and delivered by Spanish subsidiary Ahern Iberica, the new units are a response to growing demand for electric powered lifts.
Iván Martell, Elevaciones Archipiélago commercial director, added: “Today, environmental awareness is high at all levels, and our customers are conscious of the need to adopt eco-friendly solutions which meet the current demands and stricter regulations. Our latest investment in these electric Snorkel lifts will help us to meet these growing demands of our customers and help to improve our environment, too.”

Based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Elevaciones Archipiélago runs a fleet of more than 700 aerial work platforms, telehandlers, forklifts and general construction equipment from its locations on Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.
