No fresh Covid-19 cases in Sikkim, 1546 vaccinated

Gangtok, Feb 24 (UNI) There were no fresh cases of Covid-19 and no new deaths due to the infection in the last 24 hours in Sikkim, said an official.

Currently, there are 47 active cases in the hill state, said Sonam Bhutia, Information, Education and Communication member.

Out of 6132 cases registered so far, 5853 have been discharged on recovery, he said.

Since there were no further deaths, the Covid-19 toll remained at 135.



A total of 1546 health and frontline workers have received the Covid-19 vaccine shots till now, Bhutia informed.
