Man sentenced to life imprisonment under POCSO act

Hamirpur (HP), Feb 24 (UNI) A Hamirpur court on Wednesday sentenced one Suresh Kumar of Rohlwin village under section 376 of Indian Penal code and the POCSO act to undergo life imprisonment and a fine of ten thousand rupees for a heinous crime.
The man was nabbed by the Women police station of the district and a case was registered against him on May 1, 2020 and accordingly a challan was put in the court. The learned judge found the man guilty today and announced the judgment.
This information was given by the Hamirpur police today evening.
