Rama Phosphates begins commercial production of Sulphuric Acid with capacity of 55000 TPA; Stock zooms 14%

With this capacity addition of 55000 TPA from Unit-2, the overall annual production capacity of Sulphuric Acid would be 155000 TPA from the Indore manufacturing facility.

Rama Phosphates Limited has informed the exchange that they have commenced commercial production of Sulphuric Acid and its derivatives from the new manufacturing facility (Unit-2) at its existing factory premises at Indore.

The Company has commenced the production from 23rd February 2021.

Cholo Sulphonic Acid with the capacity of 9000 MT/year, Liquid SO3 with 20000 MT/year capacity and other derivatives have also begin production at Indore unit.

The Company informed that with this capacity addition of 55000 TPA from Unit-2, the overall annual production capacity of Sulphuric Acid would be 155000 TPA from the Indore manufacturing facility.

Rama Phosphates was currently trading at Rs141.80 per piece up by Rs17.55 or 14.12% from its previous closing of Rs124.25 per piece on the Sensesx, at around 10:40 AM
