Sensex up over 200 pts

Sensex up over 200 pts

Mumbai, Feb 24 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Wednesday rose by 268.69 pts at 50,020.10 on the strength of Materials, Energy, FMCG, Finance and Health Care stocks.

The Nifty gained by 93 pts to 14.,801.55. The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 50.028.64 and 49,736.97 pts respectively.

The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 14,805.90 and 14,723.05 respectively.

The Mid Cap rose by 0.65 pc and Small Cap by 0.94 pc.

In 30 scrips, 20 advanced while 10 declined.

Mumbai, Feb 24 (UNI) Infrastructure major, Dilip Buildcon said that it has been declared as L-1 bidder for two new HAM projects "Bangalore Chennai Expressway under Bharatmala Pariyojna in the state of Karnataka, Phase-1 (Package- I & II) worth Rs 2439 crores."
The first project is for 4 laning from km 0.000 to km 26.400 (along with 0.700km approach towards NH 207 with interchange on NH4 at start point) of Bangalore to Malur Section of Bangalore Chennai Expressway on Hybrid Annuity Mode under Bharatmala Pariyojna, in the state of Karnataka (Phase-1 Package-I).
