Apparently, the shoot of Thalapathy 65 is expected to begin from April onward with the cast and crew. “The shooting itself is going to start only in April, I think. So, expecting the trailer and all would be too premature (we had also inquired whether there's any word of when the Thalapathy 65 trailer could arrive) right now, it's too early. I heard that there is one guy, Anuj Paramon, who's a popular DOP (cinematographer)...(based on that) the shoot should start in April,” said Ramesh Bala. Opening up earlier on the heroine of Vijay's Thalapahty 65 and when the makers are likely to drop her name, he had disclosed, “I know they're looking at three heroines, Rashmika Mandanna, Pooja Hegde and Kiara Advani, and I think they have finalised one. Thalapathy 65 will be directed by Nelson Dilipkumar of Kolamavu Kokila fame. Nawazuddin Siddiqui, popular for his roles in Bollywood, but having also tasted success in Kollywood with Rajinikanth's Petta, is touted to have been zeroed in as the main antagonist of the film.
