The much-awaited teaser of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi has finally released online and Alia Bhatt, who plays the madam of a brothel in Kamathipura, looks quite promising with her badass portrayal of her onscreen character. The teaser begins with an introduction to its leading lady, Alia Bhatt as Gangubai, who rules the brothels in Kamathipura. Her introduction is backed by a powerful dialogue that says, 'Kehte hai Kamathipura me kabhi amawas ki raat nahi hoti... kyuki waha Gangu rehti hai' followed by a thrilling background music. Alia's fierce walk as the boss lady rolling up her sleeves will leave a lasting effect on you.
Mumbai in 1960

There's no other filmmaker than Sanjay Leela Bhansali who would bring the grandeur even in the 1960's. Dressed in a white saree, Alia is seen standing beside her vintage car and smoking a beedi carelessly. And in the next frame, we see Gangubai walking through the bylanes of Kamathipura whose people bend before her in respect.
Kicking and punching

Alia is seen kicking and punching the baddies who try to dominate her in her own area. She looks tough and can kick some real ass. She tells her people never to fear anyone, neither police, or MLA or minister or any bloody pimp.
The people's leader

In the next frame, Alia aka Gangubai is being celebrated as the leader by the people of Kamathipura. She gives a smirk as she greets the people with folded hands.
Her fearless and honest speech

After becoming the president seat of Kamathipura, Alia gives a fearless and honest speech to the crowd gathered there. She says one line, 'Mai Gangubai. President Kamathipura. Kuwari aapne choda nahi aur Shrimati kisine banaya nahi' which speaks a thousand words.
