Adilabad in Telangana records lowest minimum temperature of 13.5 deg C : Met

Hyderabad, Feb 23 (UNI) Adilabad city in Telangana recorded a lowest minimum temperature of 13.5 degree Celsius on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday, Meteorological Centre said today.

In a bulletin here, it said Kalingapatnam in Coastal Andhra Pradesh recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 16 degree Celsius.

Ramagundam in Telangana recorded a lowest minimum temperature of 16 degree Celsius while it was 18.4 degree Celsius in the capital city of Hyderabad.

The bulletin said mist or haze is likely to prevail in the morning hours at isolated places in Telangana during the next two days.

Dry weather is likely to prevail in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next five days, the bulletin added.



Rainfall occurred in isolated places in Telangana, Rayalaseema and dry weather prevailed in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the last 24 hours.

Hyderabad, Feb 23 (UNI) GMR Aero Technic (GAT), the MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) division of GMR Air Cargo and Aerospace Engineering Limited (GACAEL), has taken a giant leap in terms of aircraft maintenance and service in Asia, by adopting a new innovative technology in the form of an Inflatable Hangar.
GAT is the only MRO in the Asia region to have installed such a hangar.

Karnataka announces Rs 5 lakh each to victims of gelatin blast

Chikkaballapur, Feb 23 (UNI) Karnataka Minister for Home Basavaraja Bommai on Tuesday announced Rs five lakh compensation to the family members of gudubandi gelatin blast mishap at Chikkaballapur district
Speaking to newsmen after visiting the blast spot, he said that the incident has been handed over to the CID for investigation. He also took the task of Deputy Commissioner Latha, central IGP Chandrashekar and SP Muthun. He asked them whether they have information on the stock of gelatin sticks in the mining and this illegal quarrying not come to the notice of district administration.
