A United Airlines’ B777 with PW engines operating from Denver to Honolulu had experienced a right engine failure shortly after takeoff. While no one was injured in the incident as the plane made emergency landing, four countries have grounded the Boeing 777 planes with PW engines. Indian regulator DGCA, however, has said there will be no grounding but asked airlines to be more vigilant during ground checks (of these engines) as a precautionary measure.
