Telangana schools to reopen for class 6 to class 8 from Feb 24

HYDERABAD: The Telangana government on Tuesday decided to reopen physical classes for students of class 6 to class 8 from February 24.
The education minister of the state P Sabitha Indra Reddy said that the decision was taken following the instructions from the chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
“Physical classes for class 6 to class 8 students can be reopened from February 24 to March 1,” said Reddy adding that schools will have to strictly follow Covid-19 guidelines on the premises. Consent of parents is also mandatory, added the minister.
On February 1, the Telangana government permitted schools to start physical classes for students of class 9 and above.
