Fullerton India brings on board Standard Chartered’s Shantanu Mitra as CEO and MD


Fullerton India Credit Company (Fullerton India), a non-banking monetary firm with a robust pan-India presence, has introduced the appointment of Shantanu Mitra as its new CEO and MD with impact from 2nd April, 2021, stated a press release issued by the agency.

Mitra has over 40 years of expertise in monetary providers, with over 20 years at Standard Chartered and Citibank the place he had stints in India, Singapore and Thailand. His final position in Standard Chartered was senior regional danger officer, India, Middle East & Africa, primarily based in Mumbai. His earlier expertise with Fullerton included a stint from 2010 to 2017, initially as head of client danger for the dad or mum firm Fullerton Financial Holdings, Singapore and subsequently a tenure as CEO and MD with Fullerton India.
