TATA STEEL share price has hit a 52-week high at Rs 737 (up 7.5%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are TATA STEEL (up 7.5%) and HINDUSTAN COPPER (up 20.0%).
SJVN (down 8.9%) and CENTRAL BANK (down 8.2%) are among the top losers today.
Over the last one year, TATA STEEL has moved up from Rs 433 to Rs 737, registering a gain of Rs 304 (up 69.74%).
The BSE 500 has moved up from 15,809 to 19,652, registering a gain of 3,843 points (up 23.4%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 504.0%), DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 329.9%) and LAURUS LABS (up 312.3%).

The BSE Sensex is at 50,327 . The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TATA STEEL (up 7.5%), ONGC (up 5.6%) and INDUSIND BANK (up 2.8%). Other gainers include L&T (up 2.4%) and NTPC (up 1.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ONGC and SBI.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,854 (up 0.3%). TATA STEEL (up 7.3%) and TATA MOTORS (up 6.6%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 41,323 to 50,327, registering a gain of 9,004 points (up 20.4%).
TATA STEEL net profit declined 428.8% YoY to Rs 39 billion for the quarter ended December 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 12 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 11.5% to Rs 395.9 billion during the period as against Rs 355.2 billion in October-December 2019.
For the year ended March 2020, TATA STEEL reported 97.9% increase in net profit to Rs 187.8 billion compared to net profit of Rs 94.9 billion during FY19.
Revenue of the company grew 11.3% to Rs 1,398 billion during FY20.
The current Price to earnings ratio of TATA STEEL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 180.4x.
