Togocom mobile business fined XOF 1 bln for anti-competitive behaviour

Togo's telecom authority Arcep has imposed a fine of XOF 1.01 billion (circa EUR 1.54 million) to Togocom's mobile arm Togo Cellulaire for applying different on-net and off-net charges to customers' calls and texts. The company was requested by the regulator to end this anti-competitive practice on 09 November 2020. A similar demand was also received by rival operator Moov, which complied immediately.
