The TV show, Anupamaa, has been loved by the audience ever since it started airing on television. The show has managed to strike a chord because of its relatable storyline. It has been became the top-rated show on Indian television with the highest TRPs. However, recently, when COVID-19 struck Paras Kalnawat on the sets of Anupamaa, the shoot was temporarily halted. He plays the role of Samar in the show. And now Anagha Bhosale has revealed that all scenes between her character Nandini and Samar have been cancelled after Paras' was found coronavirus positive. When Anagha was asked if her character is undergoing changes in Paras' absence, she told TOI, "Yes, there are changes in my character and my scenes have been cut. Since Paras can’t shoot, all the upcoming scenes between Samar and Nandini have been cancelled for now. Currently, I have lesser scenes and I’m mostly included in the family scenes.”
Paras and Anagha's loving chemistry in Anupamaa has been much appreciated by the audience. And since the two shoot romantic scenes in close proximity, Anagha was asked about reaction when she got to know that Paras has contracted the novel coronavirus. She replied, "When he tested positive, I had just reached the sets. I was told that they were testing the entire cast and crew because of that. The first thought that crossed my mind was Paras’s well-being. I wasn't scared of testing positive because I had no symptoms, but the thought did cross my mind once. Paras’s health was my main concern.”
Anagha said that the entire cast and crew are missing Paras on the sets of Anupamaa adding that they keep him in check on video calls. She said that Paras is doing fine and wishes him to join them back on the sets after recovery.
Anupamaa also stars Rupali Ganguly as the titular character in the show. The actress is loved by the television viewing audience. Her simple, adjusting nature on screen has made Anupamaa a much-loved character. The show also features Delnaaz Irani, Additi Gupta and Sudhanshu Pandey in pivotal roles.
