In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,854 (up 0.2%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include TATA STEEL (up 7.4%), TATA MOTORS (up 6.5%) and ONGC (up 5.7%). Other gainers include HINDALCO (up 5.7%) and UPL (up 5.0%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 41,323 to 50,327, registering a gain of 9,004 points (up 20.40%).
SAIL net profit declined 398.7% YoY to Rs 13 billion for the quarter ended December 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 4 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 19.9% to Rs 198.3 billion during the period as against Rs 165.4 billion in October-December 2019.
For the year ended March 2020, SAIL reported 7.3% increase in net profit to Rs 27.0 billion compared to net profit of Rs 25.2 billion during FY19.
Revenue of the company grew 7.9% to Rs 617 billion during FY20.
The current Price to earnings ratio of SAIL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 9.3x.
