AHMEDABAD: After holding five online admission rounds for undergraduate ayurveda and homeopathy courses in the state, the admission committee has decided to hold the next round in the offline format. This is being done in an attempt to fill as many as 2,000 seats lying vacant in the two courses.
The new admission round, to be held across eleven colleges in the state, will be conducted from February 23 to February 26. About 1,200 seats in homeopathy and 800 seats in ayurveda courses are available after five rounds.
The admission committee for undergraduate medical courses conducts the mop-up round for the vacant seats every year. This year 4,000 candidates have decided to participate in the mop-up round in which they will have to face the admission authority in Gandhinagar.
