Monday 22 February 2021 | 13:20 CET | News
Swedish telecoms regulator PTS said that at the end of 2020, there were 47 state-financed payment service agents in sixteen counties in Sweden. This follows a commission from the government to help counties provide regional support to ensure access to basic cash services such as deposits, withdrawals and bill payments where the market does not provide these. It said a central bank (Riksbank) survey found that 9 percent of customers did not use internet banking or mobile banking.
