YSRCP leader attacked with knives , hospitalised in critical condition in AP

Kakinada, Feb 22(UNI) YSRCP leader Dondapati Srinu (45) was attacked by rivals with knives in broad day light while he was waiting at an apartment near girls high school in Dowlesweram in Rajahmundry urban police district on Monday, police sources said.
The miscreants who came in a car threw chilly powder on his eyes and stabbed him indiscriminately inflicting grievous injuries.
He was rushed to the near by Delta hospital where his condition is stated to be very critical.
The Dowlesweram police have registered a case and deployed special parties to nab the gang responsible for the attack, the police added.
