Induction for MBA freshers conducted at AISSMS

PUNE: An induction programme of the Institute of Management (IOM) at the All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society (AISSMS) was organized for masters in business administration (MBA) freshers in offline and online mode by live streaming on Facebook and YouTube.
The chief guest for the program was Santosh Bhave, Director (HR & IR), Bharat Forge and guest of honour was Parag Kalkar, dean, faculty of commerce and management at Savitribai Phule Pune University.
The induction started with traditional lamp lighting followed by felicitation. Welcoming dignitaries, students and staff was done by Abhijit Mancharkar, Director, AISSMS IOM. Kalkar in his address to the students suggested to focus on 3C’s – communication, coordination and cooperation. He also emphasized that students need to follow different study patterns where self-study, peer study and group study play an important role at postgraduate level.
Bhave enlightened the students by sharing his industry experience and how important it was for candidates to prove themselves. During the event top ten students of 2018 batch were felicitated. Mansi Kane was adjudged overall topper.
