Over 8 NC workers from down town join AP, claims spokesman

Srinagar, Feb 22 (UNI) Over eight workers from down town Srinagar on Monday joined Apni Party (AP), a spokesman of the party claimed Monday afternoon.
He said those joined AP in Srinagar office included Mohammad Irfan Ahmad Langoo, Nazir Ahmad Langoo, Ghulam Nabi Tumaan, Bilal Ahmad Kalaa, Ghulam Mohammad Kanna, Manzoor Ahmad Chanaa, Firdous Ahmad Bhat and Asif Ahmad Khan.
The new entrants were welcomed by Party’s provincial president Kashmir Mohammad Ashraf Mir who urged them to highlight and resolve the issues faced by the people in Khanyar constituency.

“Apni Party is committed to resolve the problems faced by the people at large. Apni Party does not believe in emotive sloganeering; instead, we focus on realistic issues that affect day-to-day lives of the common people,” Mir said.

On the occasion, the new entrants from Khanyar thanked the Party leadership for providing them with such a platform and avowed to strengthen the party at grass root level.

Haryana : Gurjar inaugurates six-lane over bridge on NH 19

Chandigarh, Feb 22 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Krishan Pal Gurjar on Monday inaugurated a six-lane over bridge on National Highway No-19 at Palwal built at a cost of Rs 25 crore.
Mr Gurjar informed that the construction work of a over bridge being built at a cost of Rs 50 crore on the National Highway in village Prithla, Palwal district will also be completed by March.
