Confidence vote sought by Puducherry CM defeated

Puducherry, Feb 22 (UNI) The confidence vote sought by Chief Minister V Narayanasamy in the Territorial Assembly was on Monday defeated.

After moving the motion, the Chief Minister addressed the House for an hour and later, the entire treasury bench staged a walked-out.

Speaker Sivakolunthu then announced that the confidence vote sought was defeated and adjourned the House sine-die.
