Anurag slams Congress for price rise

Hamirpur (HP), Feb 21(UNI) Union Minister Anurag Thakur on Sunday hit out at the Congress party over the latter's agitation against the price rise.

He said today that the Congress party leaders should not forget that during its period, the inflation was the highest and at the peak

Thakur said that Congress party was to be blamed for which the nation was suffering today. He said that had the Congress party not looted the nation with both hands, the situation of the country would have been different.

Thakur who was here on a two days tour of the district said that the Congress party should take a look at its tenure and compare it with today as the prices of most items are far below the inflation rate.

He said that the Modi government has done the work of giving food grains to 80 crores people and had given full assistance to the entire nation during the Corona months.

Thakur said that crores of rupees were being spent on capital expenditure to advance the country but the opposition party was engaged in demonstrations that were shocking and absurd.

Talking about the meeting of the State Working Committee in Dharamshala, Anurag Thakur said that the arrival of a national president was a matter of pride for any state party. He said that the leadership of the Center and the State were united together due to which the meeting has been taken seriously and its results would be out in coming days.
