Vijay Hazare Trophy – Mumbai beat Delhi: Prithvi Shaw did a star-act as Mumbai thrashed Delhi in the Vijay Trophy encounter on Sunday. Shaw scored magnificent hundred of just 81 balls as Mumbai won by 7 wickets against the underperforming Delhi squad. Surya celebrated call up to the India T20 squad with a meaty 50 of just 33 balls.
Mumbai chased the target in just 32nd over of the innings.
Earlier Delhi could only score 211 in their allotted 50 overs. Himmat Singh saved Delhi the blushes with unbeaten century as star players Shikhar Dhawan (0) and Nitish Rana (2) failed. Shivank Vashisht contributed 55 and that help Delhi score 211/7.
