Jammu Police nabs Al-Badr motivator in IED plant case

Jammu, Feb 21 (UNI) Jammu Police on Sunday claimed to have arrested an Al-Badr terrorist outfit motivator in the improvised explosive device (IED) planting case.
The case pertains to planting of an IED at the Jammu bus stand on February 14 so as to carry out a 2019 like Pulwama terror attack.
Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone Mukesh Singh here said that one Rah Hussain Bhat, son of Abdul Rashid Bhat of 55 Batbagh Hunipora, Nehama, Pulwama has been arrested in case. FIR No. 05/2021 PS Bus Stand, Jammu has been registered under relevant sections (case of recovery of IED from Sohail Bashir at Jammu Bus Stand).
The top cop said, "he is an over ground worker (OGW) and Motivator of Al-Badr terror outfit and is involved in conspiracy of providing logistics support to the outfit."
He is in direct contact with Pakistan handlers involved in conspiracy to carry out IED attack at Jammu, said IGP Singh.
