Four killed, three injured in truck-van collision in UP

Mathura, Feb 20 (UNI) Four people were killed while three others sustained critical injuries in a truck-van collision in the Raya area here, police said on Saturday.
Superintendent of Police (Rural) Shrishchandra said that the accident happened at the Mathura-Aligarh road at around 0230 hrs late night when the van driver fell asleep and the vehicle collided with a truck. Four people were killed on the spot in the accident, including two sisters and brother.
The SP said that all of them were headed to Rajasthan from Badaun. The deceased have been identified as Simran (20), Kajal (14) Rohit (18) and Manish (22) were killed in the accident. The injured include Prabhakar Sharma (45), his wife Neelam (41) and Amarpal (42), who was driving the van.
