Princess Eugenie is "doing really well", a source close to the royal says, after welcoming her first child.
Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank became parents to a baby boy on 9 February – their newborn son is the queen's 9th great-grandchild.
The insider tells People all's well with the royal after undergoing a C-section due to her previous spinal surgery for scoliosis.
"[Princess Eugenie] sounded very content," the source added, "And said the baby is a complete dream!"
The Buckingham Palace announcement said Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson were "delighted" by the news that their youngest daughter had given birth. Since, the Duchess of York has shared a special episode of her Story Time with Fergie & Friends YouTube series, in which she reads to kids in search of a little magic amid the pandemic.
The episode sees her in a grey wig and spectacles as she reads Baby on the Way.
"Hello! Magic dust is in the air," she says, opening the show while waving a magic wand and playing with a stuffed animal unicorn. "Very exciting times — and I'm a granny! Woohoo!"
