Bridgerton's Phoebe Dynevor Is Aware of Her 'Neck Acting,' Explains Why She Does It

People have been saying that Phoebe Dynevor, who plays Daphne Bridgerton on the Netflix series Bridgerton, acts with her neck and she’s aware of the comments!
The 25-year-old actress addressed the comments while speaking with L’Officiel for the magazine’s February 2021 issue.
“I didn’t even know I was doing it, but I think with the corset—and my need to express Daphne’s anxiety—there was a lot of sort of tense neck action,” she said.
Phoebe explained the emotions that she was trying to convey as Daphne.
She said, “It was about displaying two different emotions and not making her feel like this sort of Disney princess—that everything’s great, because she’s scared and vulnerable underneath all of that wide-eyed naiveté.”
Phoebe recently responded to rumors that she’s dating one of her handsome co-stars.

Regé-Jean Page's left eyebrow, Phoebe Dynevor's neck muscles, Adjoa Andoh's chin, Ruth Gemmell's puppy eyes and THE WHOLE Nicola Coughlan. The #Bridgerton costumes department have also outdone themselves, by about three centuries.
