OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro are rumoured to launch next month, and that's one reason why these two smartphones are in the news so frequently. The latest leak around the OnePlus 9 seemingly tips the entire spec sheet of the upcoming OnePlus handset. The specifications have been leaked via an Android app called AIDA64, and the screenshots shared by tipster TechDroider show model number LE2117.
Some of the key specifications that the leaked spec sheet confirms include a 6.55-inch Full-HD+ display. The handset is said to pack 128GB of storage. It is also said to come with a 120Hz refresh rate display.
The new leak also corroborates an earlier leak that said the upcoming OnePlus 9 series would indeed come with a charging adapter in the box. However, the latest leak claims a 65W charging support, and it will ship with the 65W adapter.
The leaked screenshots tip 8GB of RAM on the OnePlus 9. An earlier leak hinted up to 12GB of RAM on the OnePlus 9 Pro. This may mean that the company may offer up to 8GB of RAM on the lower trim (OnePlus 9) and offer up to 12GB of RAM on the higher trim (OnePlus 9 Pro). The handset is expected to come with expandable storage support.
The screenshots from the AIDA64 app further show 402ppi pixel density and a screen resolution of 1080x2400 pixels. The battery capacity of 4500mAh can also be seen in the leaked screenshot. Notably, a previous report had already claimed a 4500mAh battery which means we might see this battery capacity on the OnePlus 9. To compare, the OnePlus 8 shipped with a 4300mAh battery and 30W charging support. Next up, the leaked screenshots claim dual 48-megapixel sensors at the back, which means it could use pixel binning tech. The OnePlus 9 is also said to come with 8K 30fps support, as per the tipster. However, we feel that this might be a feature limited to the Pro model.
In a separate leak, the OnePlus 9 Pro has been claimed to come with LTPO (low-temperature polycrystalline oxide) display, the same one we saw on some premium Android smartphones from Samsung. In fact, Apple is also rumoured to use the LTPO display on its upcoming iPhone 13 Pro models. Notably, Apple already used LTPO displays on its Apple Watch models.
