Meanwhile, in a related development, divisional commissioner Sunil Kendrakar on Thursday instructed the officials of all concerned agencies to be vigilant again to curb the spread of coronavirus and strictly enforce the rules applicable for control of the infectious disease.
Presiding over a meeting of the Covid-19 Task Force held at the divisional commissioner's office here, he expressed serious concern over a sudden spike in corona cases in the last few days and asked officials to pay special attention to crowded places to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
He also emphasized on making the use of mask mandatory everywhere.
Mr Kendrekar instructed all the concerned agencies to coordinate among themselves and to take punitive action if more people are found without permission.
