Kamala Harris' Stepdaughter Ella Emhoff Makes Runway Debut in NYFW Show!

Kamala Harris‘ stepdaughter Ella Emhoff recently signed a modeling contract with IMG Models and she just made her runway debut!
The 21-year-old model and college student walked in the Proenza Schouler show during New York Fashion Week. The event was virtual and aired online on Thursday (February 18).
Earlier in the week, Ella met up with the label’s designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez for a conversation.
Ella said she “definitely lost a little sleep the night before” the show was recorded. She added, “I mean I’m walking for the first time, I’m in a professional environment for the first time… It was a very epic first experience with the fashion world.”
For those that don’t know, Ella is currently a student at Parsons School of Design.
“For a really long time when I was younger I wanted to be a designer. Then I took it a little more seriously, I started taking courses at Central Saint Martins over two summers,” she said about plans for her future. “It definitely exposed me to the intensity of design school.”
